I’m a 27-year-old gay lawyer living in San Francisco. I’ve never written a blog before, but I’ve also never run a marathon before, so the form matches the subject in novelty. I intend to update this as much as possible as my training program continues.

This story is illustrative: my friend Charlene informed her boyfriend that I was training for a marathon by telling him that the friend of hers least likely to run a marathon is going to run one.  Though he guessed someone else first, I was the second choice for friend least likely to run a marathon. I’m relishing a new challenge and surprising people who know me!
